• refugee designed toys

Refugees in various camps around the world create toys from discarded materials.
For example, in Uganda, South Sudanese kids make toy buses out of boxes from the World Food Program. In Bangladesh, children use bottle caps, bits of plastic, and even a small AA battery to create toys.

    some question to to research:

    Does it require batteries?
    Is it easy to break?
    Does the toy need instructions?
Does it make reference to a particular TV or movie character?
    Does it promote violence?
    Is it culturally sensitive?
What age is it suitable for?
    Is it safe?
What do you think of these products?
    How do they help?
