Evaluating
I learn many new technical skills during the making of the toy, including: presentation skills and giving and receiving feedback.I learn presentation skill went when I was in the stage: Developing Ideas,and I was presenting my ideas to my partners and classmates.I learn giving and receiving feedbacks when I was discusing ideas with my partner and she help me with a lot of thing and I change my design a little acordingly.
I also learn during my research and conceptual thinking influenced my design process. I understand that there are so many refugees that comes from Afghanistan,Syria,Sudan,Myanmar and Somalia because these countries are often affected by war, unrest, and conflict, leading to the displacement of their citizens.(from Bing.com);and I also learn that 47.2 MILLION refugees are children(from UNHCR)which is a huge number.I also try to show empathy and see their feelings. all this data gives more corage to make their life happier.
I want my toy to help a refugee children feel safe, happy and feel like home and it should have positive effects like feelings, creativity, learning, comfort fun and more, and it should also be concidered in the aspescs of SMART.
Changes or improvements I would make based on that feedback : I would make more ideas to choose from if my had more time or resources .I also need to improve my skech and measurements of my choosen idea more specificly .
the design cicle helped me a lot since I go through the steps and make a good toy that I know its perpose and my impact on the audience, so it makes it more clear and helps me make a better toy. The most important thing I learn design with empathy is to know others feeling and experience .
