I know you have not yet finished your design brief, but this is a good start. Keep building on your ideas and make sure to clearly outline your target audience, the problem you are addressing, and any design requirements or constraints. I would want to make a toy that children refugee can have. When a refugee is playing it it should be making them happier or just happy and not think about there worries.
The toy should be:

safe ( just not to feel unprotected because of loss of family cheap but sustainable materials primary school students toy which doesn't have a gender restriction. fun and playful Maybe something that they can learn from without having any pressure or bad attitude towards the studying in the toy. something that can bring them safety without them even noticing the not with electricity or batteries so they can keep for a life time something not easy to brake like glass toy because children can be clumsy and might make the toy fall Not culturally or sexually sensitive It should be small but not to small to lose it quickly just small enough to fit in a school backpack but still have enough space to place life saving items It would be nice to have it with different models of different theme colors if not able to make many models than a model with pastel colors It should be a shape of a animal, not one unrealistic but one that is non-fiction to make a family member but not a human or the child will think of a bad memory. the texture can be soft something that you can hug or sleep with maximum cost around 10-15rmb The toy should be given to people/children who are not allowed to show there own feelings or relax since they are in harsh living condition or in a stressful situation. the toy should be able to make them feel relax and be able to show what they are feeling and play when they are happy slowly to leave the sad mental mindset
